Bio

Mikey started performing stand up comedy on June 29, 2006, and while this was only 2 days before the end of the financial year, he quickly learned that comedians can claim almost anything as an expense, saving himself a shitload in taxes ($12).

Since then he has been writing jokes, and saying those jokes all over the place, from Sydney to Melbourne to Adelaide to Canberra to Newcastle, Mikey has made a lot of people laugh.

In April 2009, he took the main stage at the Melbourne Town Hall, performing in front of 1500 people in the televised RAW Comedy National Grand Final. In the aftermath, comedy fans on the streets of Melbourne recognised him for several days.

2010 is already proving to be a massive year for Mikey, seeing him perform in the Adelaide Fringe (Young Guns of Comedy), the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (These Are My Jokes), and last but definitely not least, in the Sydney Comedy Festival (Cracker Night 2010 Gala @ Metro) amongst a sea of acclaimed international comedians.

Toted as Australia's Funniest Young Comedian by Zoo Weekly, Mikey has worked as a comedy writer for Channel 10's hit TV show Good News Week, been heard on Triple J as part of Tom and Alex's Good Az Friday Joke-a-thon, and is a regular on Facebook where his status updates are
liked by several people.
